Overview is the first join venture between Otsuka Pharmaceutical
(Japan) Co.,Ltd. and S.Charoen Bhesaj. We were founded on December
7,1973 with head office in Bangkok and the plant in Kratumban, Sumutsakhon province. Under the worldwide mission statement of
" We will contribute for the better health of mankind " Thai Otsuka are
determined to be a part of better of the Thai people.
1977
Starting with the production of "Closed System" saline solution.
1980
Produced pure amino acid solution for the vein.
1982
Product Development Division was founded.
1987
The second plant started producing medicinal food for the
patient. It was the first medical food producing factory in Thailand.
1989
Started producing medicinal food.
2005
Ability Business Department and Cardiovascular Business
Department was founded for "Stent" business.
With the consistent performance, we are recognized as a leader in
nutritional products.

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd (Japan) vision is to create the products to serve
the
better health of people around the world. To allow its researchers to give full
play to their creativity , Otsuka has set up an international framework satellite
research laboratories for basic studies. At the same time, clinical studies are
carried out by the joint efforts of its research centers in the United States ,
Germany , The United Kingdom and Japan aiming for products of universal value.
A systematic collaboration is practiced among marketing , basic and application
research and sectors so that customers real needs may be fed back for further
product development.
